My friends and I have been discussing making a wargaming blog for our nascent gaming club for a few weeks now, but someone needed to get it started so here I go. This blog may be added to or it may die off in the future as we decide how we are going to set it up, but for now, Welcome to Wargames Illuminated!
As a group we mostly play Flames of War and Warhammer 40k, but I am always trying to find other historical and or fictional games for us to play. We have dabbled in Field of Glory but never got really going on it (and there are various scattered Pontics, Triarii, and Spartans laying about to attest to this). Some of us have played and built armies for Warhammer Fabtasy as well but I for one haven't played in years. I have the rulebook for AK47 Republic and the beginnings of an African Rebel and a European Mercenary force and hopefully this will get going someday as well.
Anyways, this is the start, it isn't much but it's what we got! I hope to add more in the future.
Addendum - Due to popular request, there will also be gun-talk on here as well!
